A handful of volunteers came together to share the Christmas spirit with the senior residents of Provision Community Living in Hermitage, TN. The Phil-Am Association of Middle Tennessee was well represented by its dedicated members whose goal and mission in life is to serve God and its people not only those that can come and grace our parties and picnics, but also those that are placed in a home away from home and mostly forgotten and taken for granted. The bad weather (raining and cold) did not dampen our spirit to support this great cause initiated by the PAAMT president, Albert Go.The experience we've had was exhilarating knowing deep in our heart and soul that these seniors, who are living on their own away from their family, for one night, were remembered, serenaded with songs they used to know and sing and showered with love and attention! Considering that most of us were not gifted with good voice and we only practiced for one evening, we were able to harmonized and sung in unison and put a smile on our audiences' faces!
