Who We Are
The Philippine-American Association, commonly known as Phil-Am Association of Middle Tennessee is a non-profit organization focused on unifying all Filipinos and Americans residing in Middle Tennessee; preserving and promoting the Philippine cultures and traditions; community involvement; charity programs in emergency cases; communicating events that affect the community and lastly coordinate social events.
Objectives
- To bring together all members of the association to achieve a coordinated social and civic functions.
- To develop within the group, especially our children, a better understanding of the ethnic Philippine History, culture and retain our unique cultural heritage.
- To represent Philippine-American community in all functions in the Middle Tennessee and across the United States.
- To participate in civic functions affecting the Philippine American Community in the Middle Tennessee.
- To disseminate news information regarding Filipino activities in the Middle Tennessee and news from back home.
