A Message from the President...

Happy New Year to all.

New Year means new beginnings. This year, aside from the responsibilities of the officers, I have assigned each of them to oversee the different committees to allow us to function and operate efficiently and orderly. This will eliminate any confusion and duplication of effort. Another thing we have done is launch our new website www.philammidtn.org (also at www.philammidtn.com).

As I mentioned in our last Christmas party, the only way we will be successful this year is to get our membership up and encourage all our members to get involved in our programs. I know that every member has their own special skills and we would like you to get involved and become a volunteer. This year we are focusing on cultural programs, community involvement, educational programs on culture and traditions, history and language and increased membership.

I am excited to be working with you and with our new officers. We are looking forward to a successful year and at the same time having fun. I am hoping you will spread the word and join our team. As a team there are no bounds to what we can accomplish.

Coming together is a beginning, keeping together is progress and working together is success.

It takes people like you to make this organization thrive. If we are divided, the chance of failure is high. Let us move forward together to attain our goals and success will take care of itself.

We need your feedback to better serve our community and our organization. Please contact any officers for your suggestions. I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you,

Alberto Go
